Gloria and Gian Marco are two young people from the Marche region who have decided to celebrate their Destination Wedding in the Dolomites, in San Vigilio di Marebbe, very close to the ski resort of Kronplatz (or Plan de Corones).

For them, the Dolomites represent a very significant place, a guardian of the intimacy they desired for their wedding.

An Oasis Open only in Summer

To be precise, the chosen location is the Fodara Vedla, refuge, in San Vigilio di Marebbe. This place, nestled in the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Natural Park, is easily accessible from San Vigilio (see website).

During the winter (which is not an ideal climate for weddings), San Vigilio is well connected to other locations in the Dolomites, and if you want to do some skiing or snowboarding, you can’t miss the slopes of Kronplatz!

Why get married in the Dolomites?

Intimate weddings as well as elopements are ideal in the Dolomites. Places like this are meant for those seeking calm and relaxation and who want to fully experience moments together with guests (preferably in small numbers!).
